A 1lb. block of firm Tofu, pressed to remove excess liquid and cut into bite size cubes. To press Tofu I place it on a paper towel lined plate, cover with another paper towel and a heavy sauce pan for 30 minutes.
Juice of 2 large naval oranges and zest of one - reserve 1 tblsp for dipping sauce.
4 tblsps honey 1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tblsp minced ginger
1 clove of garlic minced.
Whisk the marinade ingredients together in a medium size bowl, add the Tofu cubes and toss to coat. Marinate for 30 to 60 minutes. Drain the marinade from the tofu cubes from and place in a single layer in your airfryer basket. Cook at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes until golden and edges are lightly browned. Serve with peanut dipping sauce and enjoy!
Peanut Dipping Sauce
3 tblsp creamy peanut butter
1 tblsp orange juice
1 tblsp soy sauce
1 tblsp cider vinegar
1 tsp honey
1 tsp Sriracha sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
Whisk all ingredients until smooth and creamy and you're ready to go!
These little nuggets of deliciousness get their citrus flavor from an easy to make marinade. Pair them with a tangy peanut dipping sauce and they are over the top! Airfrying makes cooking them quick and easy.
